Sandra C. Lee of Milton, DE, died Saturday, February 27, 2016, at her home. She was 69 years old.

Born in Milford, DE, on January 13, 1947. Mrs. Lee was the daughter of Mary Eleanor Laramore Conner of Denton and the late James Arlie Conner. She grew up in Denton, MD, graduating from North Caroline High School in 1965. For many years she was a Mortgage Lender, first with DE Trust and then with Wachovia, retiring in the late 1990's.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her mother Mary Conner; daughter, Michele Logan and husband Kenneth of Lewes, DE; a sister, Arlene C. Neal and husband J.D., of Denton; three grandchildren: Michael, Andrew, and Melanie Krutz; a step grandson, Nicolas Logan; 2 nieces: Lori Fernald and Stacy Todd; 2 nephews, Jamie Neal and Jason Neal; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 4th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St. in Denton where friends may call from 6 until 8 on Thursday evening. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.

Paul W. Hulliger of Denton, MD, formerly of Hillsboro, died Friday, February 26, 2016, at the UM Medical Center in Easton, MD. He was 90 years old.

Born in Hynson, MD on April 20, 1925, Mr. Hulliger was the son of the late Frederick William Hulliger and Helen Beatrice Noble Hulliger. He had lived in Caroline County all of his life.

Mr. Hulliger was a WWII & Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was the Superintendent of Public Works for Easton until retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Caroline American Legion Post 29, the Easton Loyal Order of Moose #1520, and the Choptank River Yacht Club. He loved fishing for rock fish and flounder. He was also an avid gardener who enjoyed the beauty of nature.

Mr. Hulliger is survived by his wife of 69 years, Thelma C. Christopher Hulliger of Denton; a daughter, Brenda J. Cowgill and her husband Danny of Denton; a son, Weldon Hulliger of Stuart, FL; two sisters: Delores A. Glessner of Federalsburg, MD and Jeanette Elaine Gaines of Canton, GA; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Eloise White, Doris Barwick; and four brothers: Noble Hulliger, Fred Hulliger, Jr., Stewart Hulliger, and Claudell "Click" Clark Hulliger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:45 on Tuesday, March 1st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in the MD Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Elwood Road near Hurlock, MD.

Leonard "Lenny" Edward Nichols died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Nichols was born in Washington D.C. He was the son of the late Leonard C. Nichols and Ellen L. Nichols.

Mr. Nichols had retired from Lenco Mechanical Contractor, Inc. which he owned and operated with his wife for over 35 years. Mr. Nichols was a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge #128 A.F.& A.M. and was a long-term member of the Chamber of Commerce. He had also coached for Denton Little League and sponsored both youth soccer and Denton Little League for many years.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife of 51 years, L. Elaine Nichols of Denton; three children: Dana Pate and her husband Allen "Sam" of Denton, Michaele "Missy" Butler and her husband Michael of Denton, and Leonard "Buddy" E. Nichols II and his wife Megan of Denton; a sister, Katherine Bakes of Slidell, LA; and seven grandchildren: Randall, Savannah, Cori, Michael "Mick", Sara, Mason, and Shelton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 24th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 11 until 1 before the service. The interment will be in the Concord Cemetery, 7112 Dion Road, Federalsburg, MD 21632.

William H. Collings of Easton, MD, passed from this life into the next on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at The Gardens at William Hill Manor in Easton. He was 90 years old.

Born in St. Charles, ID on February 26, 1925, Mr. Collings was the son of the late Simpson Lyman Collings and Olive Pearl DeRenzy. He graduated from the Marathon, NY High School and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in France and Germany during WWII. He retired from the General Motors Corporation after working in the Cadillac division for over twenty years. He is predeceased by his first wife Alice in 1994. He and his wife, Elsie Kelley Collings, attended the First Baptist Church in Easton.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Collings is survived by two daughters: Diane Cook (Ron) of Lakewood, CO and Karen Dunne (Mike) of Utica, NY; three granddaughters: Elizabeth Marcoulier (Jason) of Quincy; MA, Kimberly Gattie (Richard) and great granddaughter Katherine of Rensselear, NY; and Melissa Dunne of Utica, NY; and one sister, Elizabeth Prater of Yuma, AZ. He also has four step daughters: Cheryl Cardarelli (James) of Scappoose, OR, Margaret Yasick (Don) of The Villages, FL, Gail Perez (Michael) of Kansas City, KS, and Mary Kay LeCates (Stephen) of Denton, MD; and a step son, Jack O. Kelley (Gail) of Denton; nine step grandchildren: Thea Haseman, Christa Meshell (Jason), Jesse Cardarelli, Talia Mask (Jon), Erin Brandt (Chris), Joshua Watson, Angelica Perez, Laura Foster (Stephen), and Stephanie LeCates; and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to his first wife, he is predeceased by his sister, Margaret Munster from Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 20th, at the First Baptist Church, 115 Idlewild Ave. in Easton where friends may visit with the family from 11 until 12 before the service. The interment will be in Utica, NY at a later date.

William E. Brown, Jr. of Chestertown, MD, died on February 3, 2016, at the UM Shore Nursing and Rehab Center in Chestertown. He was 76 years old.

Born in Ridgely, MD on November 10, 1939, Mr. Brown was the son of the late William Edward Brown, Sr. and Ella Eunice Fields Brown. Mr. Brown graduated from the Chestertown High School in 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and later owned and operated Brown Electric in Chestertown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Brown of Chestertown; a son, Mark E. Brown of Chestertown; a stepson, Barry Kracke of Federalsburg, MD; a step-brother, Glen Turner of Worton, MD; three grandchildren: Amanda, Barry, and Crystal; three great grandchildren: Kobe, Kaylee, and Elizabeth; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 AM on Saturday, February 13th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St. in Denton where friends may call one hour before the service. The interment will be in the Ridgely Cemetery.
